Wrong Bed, Right Guy, by Katee Robert is a contemporary romance novel and is the first book out of a 4-part series. And since this is a 4-part series, you can expect reviews by this author pretty back to back for the next few weeks as I go through the books. It is written from a third-person POV, two-sided.

Katee is an author who generally writes dirty, dirty sex scenes. So if you’re someone who is looking for some dirty read (which there is nothing wrong with that) this is the book for you.

Spoilers Ahead ***

Elle is not only an artist, but she’s also a prim and proper art gallery coordinator. When I say prim and proper, I mean it. There is such a thing as the “right guy” and Elle has her sights on her boss. One night she decides it’s a good idea to put on some sexy lingerie and sneak into his bed to seduce him so he’ll notice her. And she does…and ends up orgasming with her boss’s brother, Gabe.

Gabe owns a string of nightclubs and tattoo parlors and is no stranger to a woman he doesn’t know in his bed, but he didn’t expect to have one snuggle up to him his first night back in town. He’s in a stage in his life where he’s ready to settle down and he just has to convince Elle that he’s the “right guy”.

Overall, the characters were likeable, but the story is crazy, who would do what Elle did?

Generally, here are my thoughts:

  1. All books I’ve read by this author were smooth and had great pacing, this book is no different
  2. The meet cute was awesome
  3. There was definite growth of caring and emotions, but man…Elle had a lot of growing to do and she did it. You’re going to be pretty proud of her at the end of the book

In summary, I give this a 4 out of 5.
